The SpoutOff was developed due to years of experience installing, cleaning and fixing rain gutters.  It became obvious that IF A GUTTER IS CLEAN WHERE THE GUTTER MEETS THE DOWNSPOUT, WATER WILL ALWAYS FLOW OUT OF THAT GUTTER… EVEN IF THERE IS DEBRIS IN THE REST OF THE GUTTER… THAT IS A FACT.

The system is designed so that only 4 SpoutOff components are needed to be installed onto any gutter and downspout, regardless of size, shape or material.  SpoutOff parts simply replace present outlets, straps, brackets, cleats, etc. because these old-fashioned parts offer no helpful function.

(1) Checking Covered Gutters…
The SpoutOff also solves the dilemma of not knowing if anything is clogging covered gutters because you can’t see into them.  One example: bees get into covered gutters and build bee hives… the bees leave, the hive stays.  The hive eventually clogs the gutter where the gutter meets the downspout.  With The SpoutOff, covered gutters can now be easily, quickly and safely checked to be sure that that critical area where the gutter meets the downspout is clear.  If it is, the covers are working and water is flowing properly saving the structure from expensive water damage.   

(2) Checking Underground Pipes…
When a downspout empties into an underground pipe, all too often and without the homeowner knowing it, the underground pipe becomes clogged.  This is because an underground pipe essentially runs horizontally and debris from the gutter easily clogs it.   AND varmints like mice and chipmunks enter the underground pipe and build nests.  Because The SpoutOff enables the user to easily remove the downspout, checking and flushing out the underground pipe becomes easy, fast and inexpensive.
